During years 2014-2017, several extensive field explorations were undertaken to this Island 52 taxa algae, comprising 16 Chlorophyceae, 19 Phaeophyceae 17 Rhodophyceae recorded. thorough scrutiny literature shows that first comprehensive report on algal from island. This paper analyses significance for biodiversity conservation.
